![]() ![]() My play-through's have changed where they or more aware of the previous loops. This event happens right before you get the radio with the extra dials that unlocks doors which is in the shop in town. It triggers an event about the 4 people in the car that died which is spoken about in one of the anomalies. That extra scene before the game starts (I think) is triggered by when you use the radio by the car in town when it's lights are on. Even though there was talking they just decided to go on the trip anyway and then the credits ran & then the loop starts over. They did not remember Clarissa from the tower, played it off, & continued to the island. I past the song on the radio back-and-forth on the dial until it ended and then Clarissa started talking from the com tower, which happens later on in the night. ![]() Originally posted by traffiktiger:Did anyone get the ending where you are in the grocery shop parking lot before the ferry trip to the island earlier in the evening talking about the upcoming trip to the island? I did & Ren says let's play it by fate by deciding if we will continue to go to the island if there is someone talking on the radio or if there is music playing. I think you might be able to get out of the loop through some secret but I'm not sure? Has anybody else got this scene? ![]() ![]() Also with the secret ending of having to do everything right, in my play through before going into the bomb shelter Ren told me "you haven't been acting like yourself" so maybe that's a clue that you can get a secret ending doing everything a certain wayĭid anyone get the ending where you are in the grocery shop parking lot before the ferry trip to the island earlier in the evening talking about the upcoming trip to the island? I know it sounds stupid for such a good game but maybe they thought it was best for the game and/or it would take too much time.īut then again I haven't collected and read every letter, or lisened to every secret frequency, or deciphered every morse code so I dont know.īut then again I haven't collected and read every letter, or lisened to every secret frequency, or deciphered every morse code so I dont know. Maybe the game Developers simply didn't add another ending for Alex. There where a few hits to this like: they saying it wasn't them causing it fully, the old lady that was on the island was investigating it earlier and that the Ghost could leave at anytime.ģ. One wrong dialog choice and you are still stick.Ģ. What I mean by that is you have to chose the precise actions that caused the time loop in the first place. Maybe you have to chose the exacty correct actions. Why does it still continue after what appears to be the propper end? Ussually the best way to sort a problem is to remove its cause so I will give a few theories:ġ. This theory is somewhat underwhelming I'd take a smart, logical explanation over pseudo-scifi bs any day but that's all I've got.Įxactly. If I were to make a guess here I'd say that since game relies heavily on the concept of eternal recurrence - according to which world as we know it will occur infinite amount of times albeit with slight changes - Alex's conciusness is simply moved to a different universe. I mean, even if you go the sacrificial way (sealing the tear and leaving Alex on the other side, theoretically doomed to share crew's fate) she still ends up on the ferry withother survivors.
